transfer, the General Officer Commanding recommends that

it should follow the same lines as that for the small

portion of Military Reserve land included in the Dock

Battery site, viz:- the actual amount received from the

Dock Company by the Colonial Government to be credited

to the Military Authorities less the agricultural value

of the land, which is to be credited to the Colonial

Goverment. The latter value to be determined by the

arbitrator under the general agreement.

I am therefore to ask if Mr Secretary

Chamberlain will be so good as to acquaint Mr Brodrick

at an early date if he concurs in the action taken.
